Welcome

Let me tell you the secret this whole program is built on: the spotlight you feel on you in every room — the one tracking your blush, your pauses, the way you held your glass — is running on a projector inside your own head. The rest of the room is busy with something far more absorbing: themselves.

I'm not going to ask you to believe that. What you feel is completely real — the heat in your face, the heart going before you speak, the two-in-the-morning replay of one sentence. Nobody here will ever tell you it's all in your head. The *feeling* is real. It's the *audience* that isn't what it seems — and for six weeks, you're going to test that like a scientist instead of taking anyone's word for it. Including mine.

How the six weeks work

  • Short sessions, ten to fifteen minutes, about three a week. One idea each, tested in real life.
  • A thirty-second evening check-in — did anything social get quietly steered around today?
  • The event log — sixty seconds before a social event, sixty after. This is the engine: what you predict will happen, next to what actually did, in your own handwriting.
  • A weekly review that reads your numbers with you — above all *the gap* between how badly you predicted things would go and what the evidence says happened.

One honest thing

Week five will ask you to do some of the things you currently avoid. I'm telling you now because everything before it exists to make that possible: attention that points outward, props you've learned you don't need, and a stack of your own evidence. By the time the ladder arrives, you won't be climbing on faith — you'll be climbing on data.

Right now: two short questionnaires, two honest questions, and your setup. That's the whole evening.
