Welcome

If you're here, your gut has probably been running your calendar for a while. You know where every bathroom is between home and work. You've invented reasons to skip dinners. You've done the quiet math on every long drive.

So let me say the important things plainly, right at the start. In this program we talk about bathrooms, urgency, and the fear of an accident in ordinary adult words — because your gut is a body part, not a secret. And IBS is not "in your head." It lives in the conversation between your head and your gut: a real, physical line that, in IBS, is turned up too loud. That volume has settings we can reach.

This program is gut-directed CBT. In clinical trials it has some of the best results in digestive medicine — and it works not by changing what you eat, but by turning that line down.

How the six weeks work

  • Short sessions, about ten to fifteen minutes, a few a week. One skill each.
  • A sixty-second gut diary, once a day — the engine of everything. It's how the program learns *your* gut and, soon, shows you your stress and your symptoms moving together, about a day apart.
  • A weekly review where we read your numbers and adjust your plan — your practice dose, your pace, your next step.

One requirement before we start

And it's non-negotiable: this program is for IBS that a clinician has diagnosed. If you have gut symptoms nobody has examined — or any bleeding, unexplained weight loss, fever, or symptoms that wake you from sleep — see a doctor first. Those need medical eyes, not an app, and the program will wait for you.

Right now: a few safety questions, a short check-in, and your first diary tonight. That's it. Let's introduce you to your second brain.
