Welcome

Before anything else, here's what this program is not. It's not a lecture. It's not about hitting rock bottom, and it's not about willpower or weakness. If you came here braced for someone to be disappointed in you, you can set that down. Nobody like that lives here.

Here's how this actually works, after years of it: your drinking or drug use is a loop with a job. Something sets it off, a craving builds, you use, you get relief — and the relief is real, which is exactly why the loop is hard to break. That loop has been doing something *for* you. So we don't start with "why are you so weak." We start with "what is this doing for you, and could something do it better?"

You've been running a cost-benefit analysis on this for years. We're just going to audit it together — honestly, numbers on the table.

How the six weeks work

  • Short sessions, ten to fifteen minutes, about three a week. One idea or skill each.
  • A short log — the engine. When an urge shows up, or after you use, you tap for forty-five seconds: what set it off, how strong, what you did. No judgment in it, just data. Plus a twenty-second daily check-in.
  • A weekly review where we read your numbers together. The one I care about most is your surf rate — the share of cravings you rode out instead of using. Watch that climb and you're watching the loop lose its grip.

One honest thing, and I need you level for it

For some people, stopping suddenly isn't just hard — it's medically dangerous. If you drink heavily every day, or you're dependent on benzodiazepines or opioids, quitting cold can cause seizures and can be fatal. That's not a scare tactic; it's a fact about the body, and it deserves a doctor in charge of the timing, not an app. The next few questions ask about exactly that — so if that's you, we can slow down and get you the right support first.

Right now: a quick check-in, the safety questions, and your log. Answer honestly. Honest is the only thing that works here.
